We are delighted that Bessie Lee, (NED of RS Group plc), Amina Rasool (Company Secretary of NinetyOne) and Lisa Marvin (ex Head of Corporate Law and Governance at BNP Paribas) will be on the panel sharing their insights. The event will be moderated by Pete Ho (ACGN Committee member).

Bessie Lee is an international business leader, investor, and board director with over 30 years of experience spanning global marketing services, technology-enabled business transformation, and cross-border growth between Asia and the West. She currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at RS Group plc, a FTSE 250 global industrial solutions company.
Bessie previously held several senior executive roles across Greater China. She served as Chief Executive Officer of JLL Greater China, Chief Executive Officer of WPP China and GroupM China.
Alongside her board work, Bessie is an active investor and advisor to technology startups focusing on MarTech, AI-driven platforms, and productivity technologies.
Bessie also hosts podcast conversations focused on leadership, business transformation, technology, and cross-cultural perspectives.

Amina Rasool is the Group Company Secretary of Ninety One, serving as the principal governance adviser to the Board of this FTSE 250 asset manager dual-listed on the LSE and JSE. She leads a multi-jurisdictional Secretariat function and operates at the intersection of corporate law, listing regulation and Board-level governance.
A qualified solicitor and Associate Corporate Governance (ACG) professional, with a career spanning private legal practice, international development finance and senior in-house governance roles.
She is experienced in leading governance transformation, including the development of a governance-focused AI strategy to build a scalable, resilient Secretariat function.

Lisa Marvin is a Fellow of The Chartered Governance Institute with more than 30 years’ experience advising boards and senior executives on corporate governance in global financial services institutions. In her most recent role as Head of Corporate Law and Governance at BNP Paribas, she led the design and implementation of governance frameworks for the London branch and its investment banking subsidiaries and played a central role advising on the governance aspects of strategic corporate transactions. Having previously held senior governance leadership roles at HSBC and Morgan Stanley, Lisa brings a breadth of insight into the skills that define the modern company secretary and how the role has evolved into a trusted strategic adviser at the heart of effective board decision‑making.

Pete is a Fellow of The Chartered Governance Institute, the Royal Society of the Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, and the International Compliance Association. He has over 15 years of wide-ranging experience across listed companies in retail, oil and gas, manufacturing, insurance and professional services. Peter was born and raised in Singapore, and trained and qualified as an FCG and a solicitor of England & Wales in the UK. He was named the winner of “General Counsel of the Year” at The Lawyer Awards 2024 and a leading “Board Influencer” at the Governance Hot 100, 2025.
