McClintock Distilling Tasting - Cask finished gin, bold rye, and liqueurs with real flavor
This tasting is a fun one because the lineup has range. You get a proper rye with bite, two gins that take a left turn through wine and brandy casks, plus a pear liqueur and a coffee liqueur that actually taste like the ingredients on the label. If you like spirits with personality and a little craft swagger, this is a great night to taste side by side and find your bottle.
What we’re tasting
McClintock Bootjack Rye
Spicy, dry, and structured. The kind of rye that shows up in a Manhattan and still feels sharp neat.
McClintock Gardener's Gin Finished in Madeira Wine Casks
Bright botanicals up front, then a warmer, rounder finish from the Madeira influence.
McClintock Reserved GinFinished in Cognac Barrel
More depth and richness, with a softer, more polished edge that leans great for martinis and spirit-forward cocktails.
McClintock Spiced Pear Liqueur
Warm pear and baking spice vibes. Easy to sip, even better as a cocktail shortcut.
McClintock Cubano Roast Organic Coffee Liqueur
Roasty, dark, and clean. Great for espresso martinis, or just over ice when you want dessert without the sugar bomb.
