About this Event

This FREE Hackney Skills for Life event is for anyone looking to kickstart their sustainability journey with an accredited Carbon Literacy certification tailored specifically for the automotive industry.

Across two 4-hour sessions, you will move from understanding the why of climate change to the how of taking impactful action.


What you'll gain:

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Understand the real-world impacts of climate change on a global and local scale.
  • Navigate key UK and global climate targets affecting the industry.
  • Learn how to calculate and reduce emissions within your own life and work, developing personal and group pledges to drive meaningful change.


This course is fully accredited. To earn your Carbon Literacy Certificate, you will complete a brief assessment and design one individual pledge of carbon-reducing action. This is a globally recognised credential that demonstrates your commitment to a low-carbon future.


When: Tuesday & Wednesday 24-25 February, 10:00am - 2:00pm

Cost: FREE (Booking is essential)


You must be able to attend both 4-hour sessions to receive your certificate.
