What We Provide:
- No direct cost to participants. All fees must be covered by an OWLware-approved Employment Ontario (EO) agency
- 4-week entry-level food preparation and culinary work experience program
- Greenhouse experience growing microgreens and herbs to complement dishes
- Experience as a marketplace ambassador at The Stops Farmers Market
- Hands-on workshops with Professional Guest Chefs
- Intensive workshops on resume writing, interview preparation and life skills
- Kitchen First Aid Fundamentals session
- WHMIS Certification included
- Customer Service/Marketplace Certificate
- Food Handlers and CPR/First Aid Certifications available
PLEASE NOTE: This is a pre-employment program for individuals who are actively seeking employment upon completion.
