This Taster Day gives you the opportunity to experience what it’s like to study on our Access to HE and Foundation Art & Design courses at Cornwall College - Camborne.
During the day, you’ll:
- Explore our dedicated studios and facilities, including printmaking, ceramics, and 3D.
- Meet lecturers.
- Take part in practical sessions, including creating your own mixed media artwork and ceramic piece.
- Find out how our Art & Design Practice courses could help you move forward with your creative ambitions.
Whether you are considering full-time or part-time study, this is a chance to see if our programmes are the right fit for you.

Printmaking workshop

Info: In this hands-on workshop, you will explore mono printing in our dedicated print studio. Working from found images you will create a number of prints exploring image, texture, line, narrative, pattern and abstraction. You will be able to take all of these away with you.

Pottery Workshop: Textured Slab-Built Containers
Host: Simon Hall
Info: In this hands-on workshop, participants explore the expressive possibilities of clay by experimenting with textures, patterns, and surface design before constructing a unique container from their creations.
