Ableton Educator's Day is a professional development event designed for educators integrating Ableton into their classrooms, and anyone passionate about music technology in education. You'll experience the latest updates across Ableton Live, Push, and Move through presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and guided music-making experiences. Connect with the team behind the tools, exchange ideas with peers, and meet innovative educators advancing music technology in education.
This event will take place on Friday, October 9th from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Lunch will be provided.
Admission is free, but space is limited and registration is required.

Getting Started with RNBO

In this session, participants will get a practical introduction to RNBO's core concepts and code-export workflow, including RNBO's Takeover Mode with Ableton Move. No prior RNBO experience is required.

Timo Preece shares real-world insight from touring, Ableton-based show files, vocal FX systems, routing, click and cue management, redundancy, timecode, and troubleshooting. Through practical examples and artist-session context, the class shows how playback engineers prepare, operate, protect, and communicate the systems that keep modern live shows moving.

Info: Ableton designed Move to spark creative flow: four tracks, fast workflows, and infinite possibilities. Join Lawrence Grey for a crash course on how to use this simple but powerful production and performance tool. After creating a short piece of music, each attendee will share their work with the group at the end. Is three hours enough for all that? With Move, of course it is! Moves provided. Max 12 attendees.
