ABIDE WOMEN'S GATHERING 2026: FORTIFIED
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil." — Ephesians 6:10-11
This year at Abide, we're diving into Ephesians 6:10-20 and asking what it really means to be fortified — spiritually strong, rooted, and dressed in the armor God has given us for the battles we face every day.
Join us October 16-17, 2026, at Victory Church's brand-new location — 60 Athabasca St E, Moose Jaw, SK — for two days of worship, teaching, community, and great food.
At Abide Women's Gathering, we believe God's Word, authentic community, and gathering around great food are the foundation of a vibrant Christ-filled life.
Friday Night | 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Friday evening is all about slowing down together — worship, stories of what God is doing, and good conversation with friends old and new.
And this year, for the first time ever, Friday night is also home to the Abide Market! We've handpicked a beautiful group of local artisans to join us, featuring handcrafted tallow products, watercolours, pottery, and so much more. The Market is open Friday evening only — bring your cash and cards and come ready to shop local and support some incredibly talented makers.
Saturday | 9:00am - 5:00pm
Our full conference day, built around intentional keynote sessions, breakout sessions, worship, prayer, great food, and lots of fun — all centered on Fortified.
• Main Session Speakers: Marianna Godard, Rilene Johnson, Kelly Boisclair
• The legendary Abide swag bags
• Morning and afternoon coffee + snacks
• Hour Glass Cafe will be on site Saturday for drink purchases
Breakout Speakers:
#1 Fortified: Why Healing Shame Changes How We Stand With Shannon Harrison
Shame quietly shapes how we see ourselves, others, and even God. Together we'll explore how Jesus meets us in our hiding places and how healing shame strengthens our identity, relationships, and faith. Discover practical, hope-filled steps toward living with greater freedom, courage, and wholeness.
#2 From Wounded to Warrior With Kendall Pruden
Through personal testimony, biblical teaching, and practical encouragement, Kendall will
explore how God sees and heals our wounds, how spiritual battles often lie beneath our
everyday struggles, and how believers can stand firm through the protection of the Armor of God found in Ephesians 6. Following the teaching session, participants will be invited into a meaningful interactive experience of prayer, reflection, and surrender as they identify the flaming arrows that have wounded them and symbolically lay them at the feet of Jesus. This powerful time is designed to encourage women to move from hurt to healing, from isolation to community, and from woundedness to walking confidently as daughters of the King.
#3 The Breastplate Exchange: Our Labels for God's Righteousness with Kathy Knapp
Even Wonder Woman had a breastplate for protection. What does it mean to put on the "Breastplate of Righteousness," and how can that protect us so we can be Wonder Women for God?
#4 When Lies Come (for teens and the young at heart) with Jessika Kopp
What happens when people misunderstand you? When lies spread faster than the truth? When rejection, gossip, and the opinions of others begin to shape how you see yourself?
In this session, we’ll explore how to stand firm when your identity is under attack, how to stop living for the approval of people, and how to find unshakable confidence in Christ alone. Because when your life is fortified by God’s truth, the lies around you no longer have the power to define you.
#5 Unshaken: Fortified by Truth with Aimee Bourassa
In a world filled with noise, lies, and uncertainty, God calls us to be anchored in His truth. In this session, we’ll explore the Belt of Truth from Ephesians 6:14 and discover how being rooted in God’s Word can fortify our hearts, steady our minds, and help us walk confidently in what is true.
Teens Welcome! 💛
We've watched more and more teen girls come to Abide with their moms — and we are here for it! This year we're being intentional about creating space just for them:
• A first-ever teen-focused breakout session, with moms welcome to join in too
• A special student ticket price
• A welcome gift for every teen girl, generously sponsored by Living Hope Ranch
Bring your teen girls to Abide this year — we saved them a seat.
