About this Event
From the irresistible energy of Dancing Queen and Mamma Mia to the heartfelt emotion of The Winner Takes It All, the unforgettable music of ABBA comes to life in a vibrant new concert programme performed by Mystery Quartet.
Presented at St Peter’s Church in Bournemouth, a contemporary venue renowned for its excellent acoustics and intimate atmosphere, the concert invites audiences to rediscover some of the most celebrated songs in pop history through original instrumental arrangements.
ABBA’s music is instantly recognisable: radiant melodies, sophisticated harmonies and infectious rhythms, often accompanied by an unexpected undercurrent of tenderness and melancholy. These contrasting qualities are explored through fresh arrangements, revealing new colours and nuances within songs that have united generations of listeners.
The programme brings together exhilarating dance-floor anthems, lyrical ballads and enduring favourites, including Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Waterloo, The Winner Takes It All, Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Money, Money, Money and more.
More than half a century after ABBA’s international breakthrough with Waterloo, their songs remain as immediate, joyful and emotionally resonant as ever. This concert celebrates that extraordinary musical legacy in an intimate live setting, inviting audiences to experience familiar melodies from a fresh perspective.
The concert is organised by RED EVENTS & Distribution Ltd., an international cultural events producer known for creating distinctive experiences in atmospheric and architecturally remarkable settings, from churches, cathedrals and historic mansions to rooftops, greenhouses and other unconventional venues across Europe, the United Kingdom, Azerbaijan, Georgia and beyond. Its portfolio also includes candlelight concerts and immersive, multi-sensory shows combining live music, sound design and visual art.

Mystery Quartet
Mystery Quartet has evolved as a continuation of the infamous Mystery Ensemble.
Mystery Ensemble is a group of professional musicians performing unique programs on non-standard venues around the UK.

Founded in 2021, our contemporary music studio has grown rapidly, with over 40 shows in the UK in its first year of performing. Our founder, Almin Alexander, has devoted more than 12 years of his life to the music industry and the development of cultural initiatives worldwide, working with many outstanding musicians and musical groups.
The ensemble’s repertoire contains an incredible amount of music. Just look at some of the programs so dearly loved by our viewers: these are tribute concerts of such great composers as Ludovico Einaudi, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Ólafur Arnalds, Joe Hisaishi, or the minimalists John Cage and David Lang, along with At the same time, the ensemble performs popular soundtracks from sensational TV shows and movies: The Witcher, Wednesday, The Young Pope, Harry Potter, a variety of Disney and Pixar films, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit saga, Spencer, Star Wars and others. There is also the unique music of Enigma and Enya, combined with neoclassical music, world rock hits, and tributes to the legendary Michael Jackson, Queen and the Beatles. For lovers of the classics, the ensemble’s collection contains music by W.A. Mozart, J.S. Bach, L.V. Beethoven, R. Wagner, I. Strauss, P.I. Tchaikovsky, S.V. Rachmaninov, and all key composers — classics. And much more. Every month, the studio releases new programs and updates the existing repertoire.
