A two-hour creative experience to reflect on the year gone by, explore your feelings through art, and set a gentle aspiration for next year.
About this Event

As the year comes to a close, we often find ourselves rushing towards the next one — making plans, setting goals, and thinking about what we should do differently.

But before looking ahead, when was the last time you paused to check in with yourself?

Perhaps this year has been meaningful, messy, exhausting, or full of unexpected changes. Maybe there are feelings you haven’t had the time to reflect, moments you want to hold on to, or hopes you haven’t quite found the words for.

Join us for A Year in Feelings, a two hour art workshop where you can reconnect with yourself and reflect on your year through colour, shapes, and creative expression.

No art experience required, beginner friendly. All art materials will be provided, so you can simply show up and enjoy the process. Do sign up early so we can best prepare for your arrival.

What is a Feelings Map?

A feelings map is a personal visual reflection of your inner world. Using colours, shapes, lines, and intuitive mark-making, you’ll create an artwork that represents the emotions, experiences, and moments that have shaped your year.

This workshop is for you if…

  • You’ve been busy taking care of work, responsibilities, and others that you’ve had little time for yourself.
  • You're feeling a little emotionally drained and haven’t had the chance to reflect on everything this year has brought.
  • You want to reconnect with yourself but find it difficult to put your feelings into words.
  • You’re tired of the pressure to set ambitious New Year’s resolutions and would prefer a gentler way to begin.
  • You’re looking for a creative, meaningful way to close the year, whether on your own or alongside like-minded people.

What can you expect at this workshop?

  • Guided mindful meditation to help you slow down and gently turn your attention inward.
  • Create your feelings map with various art materials
  • Short reflection and journalling
  • Sharing circle (only if you feel comfortable to share anything; no pressure)

Join us to close the year with intention and welcome the new one with a little more space and care.
