We're a local community for curious, open-minded people who enjoy interesting conversations, new experiences, and meeting people they genuinely enjoy spending time with.
This evening, we'll explore a fascinating question:
What happens if work is no longer necessary?
For centuries, humanity has fought for one thing: a world where survival isn't a daily battle.
Leading AI experts are suggesting we may be on the verge of getting exactly that. Machines that do virtually everything better than we can. Work as we know it disappearing. Abundance becoming the default.
What happens to purpose, identity, ambition, and the way we spend our lives when work is no longer necessary?
That's what we'll explore together.
This isn't a lecture or a debate. It's an opportunity to exchange ideas, hear different perspectives, and spend an evening with interesting people.
Before the Event
Once you register, I'll send you a few articles and podcasts exploring the idea of a world without work from different perspectives two weeks prior to the event.
Read and/or listen to them before the event, and come ready to discuss your thoughts. Bring your own perspective, your questions, or simply your curiosity.
The Conversation
You don't need to be an AI expert, and you don't need to have a particular opinion.
Different perspectives are welcome.
What matters is that we're respectful, open-minded, willing to listen, and interested in exploring ideas together.
The goal isn't to agree. It's to have a great conversation, discover new perspectives, and meet a few people you'd like to know better.
