About this Event
A WAY OUT OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CANDLELIGHT
Join us in person for a heartfelt evening dedicated to raising awareness and hope. This candlelight event is all about standing together, sharing strength, and shining a light on the path to safety and healing. Come be part of a supportive community as we honor survivors and inspire change. Let's create a brighter future, one candle at a time! Our candles will also shine for those who are currently experiencing domestic violence. We want every individual who may be suffering in silence to know: You are not alone. You are seen. You are worthy of safety. Help and resources are available, and there is a way out.
We will also recognize and celebrate survivors—those who found the courage to leave, rebuild, heal, and begin again. Their lives remind us that there can be hope after abuse, healing after trauma, and life after domestic violence.
During this 30-minute ceremony, we will gather for a brief welcome, prayer, moment of remembrance, candle lighting, words of encouragement and hope, recognition of survivors, and a closing prayer.
Each candle will represent a life remembered, a survivor supported, a person still waiting for freedom, and our collective commitment to ending domestic violence.
We remember those we lost.
We stand with those still enduring.
We honor those who survived.
And together, we continue helping survivors find their way to freedom and healing. 💜🕯️
