The Irish Group of Association Femmes d’Europe with the support of the Embassy of Ireland in Belgium, proudly presents an exceptional Charity Gala Concert as part of the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.Featuring internationally acclaimed Irish tenor Emmet Cahill, accompanied by the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra and the Brussels Philharmonic Chorus, conducted by David Navarro-Turres.
An evening full of Irish melodies, excerpts from operas and musicals, celebrating Exile, Resilience and Hope, while supporting the humanitarian projects of the Association Femmes d'Europe.
Specially featuring the uilleann piper Mark Redmond, the Belgian- Iraqi composer Qoutayba Neaimi and his new piece, together with the violinist Alan Arif and the percussionist Şêrko Kanîwar.
The Gala is made possible thanks to the generous support of Microsoft, Ibec, Culture Ireland and the Embassy of Ireland in Belgium.
