An intimate in-person discussion of the works of Preston Buffalo with curator Jordan KingAbout this Event
Join curator Jordan King as she gives a tour of A View from Above, providing artistic insights and remembrances of artist Preston Buffalo.
Based on Coast Salish Territories (aka Vancouver) for many years, Preston Buffalo began his explorations in art through drag, self portraiture, and performance in the queer nightclub scene where he met his best friend and oft collaborator of 25 years, Jordan King. Now a Toronto-based interdisciplinary artist working in performance, photography and writing, King will lead an intimate curator talk at SUM gallery, offering insight into Buffalo’s diverse artistic practices and processes.
