The voice. The sound. The songs you know and love. Get ready for a brilliant Friday night at the Club!International tribute artist Andrew James brings his show, Easy Lover, to the New Plymouth Club as part of his first New Zealand tour.
Celebrating the music, sound and energy of Phil Collins and Genesis, the show features favourites from Phil’s solo career through the 80s and early 90s, alongside some of the biggest Genesis hits.
A performer since 1994, Andrew has spent almost 20 years honing his Phil Collins tribute. From UK theatres and holiday resorts to cruise ships and international venues in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, he brings years of experience to the stage.
It’s that familiar voice that really draws you in — the distinctive tone, power and vocal range that make Phil’s songs so recognisable, matched with his mannerisms and stage presence.
As The Stage put it in its October 2011 review:
“An exact vocal match and a great impersonation of mannerisms.”
With seven costume changes, great visuals and a few cheeky touches of Phil’s humour, this is a high-energy night of music and nostalgia.
This is going to be an incredible show and one not to miss.
