TWO PERFORMANCES | SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 20263:30 PM & 6:00 PM | FREE ADMISSION
This November, a 45-piece orchestra featuring University of Michigan musicians joins a community chorus, professional vocal soloists, and a professional narrator for A THRILL OF HOPE: A Musical Journey Through the Christmas Story.
We'll follow the Christmas story through some of the greatest music written for orchestra and chorus. The program features works by Handel, Vivaldi, Mozart, Haydn, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Berlioz, and Gounod, along with beloved Christmas selections.
It's a wonderful opportunity to experience the sound of a full orchestra and chorus, the artistry of outstanding professional singers, and the Christmas story brought to life through music and narration.
Whether you're a classical music enthusiast, enjoy choral music, or simply love the Christmas season, we hope you'll join us. Bring your family and friends!
