Join us at The Last Supper for an intimate wine tasting inspired by our own travels through Valpolicella, one of northern Italy's most celebrated wine regions.Nestled in the hills outside Verona, Valpolicella is known for its picturesque vineyards, historic villages and distinctive red wines.Over one relaxed hour, we'll explore three different expressions of Valpolicella from family-owned winery Cà la Bionda, discovering how traditional winemaking techniques, grape varieties and ageing influence what's in your glass.
We'll begin with a fresh and vibrant 2022 Valpolicella Classico, move on to the richer, more complex 2020 Malavoglia Ripasso, and finish with something rather special: a 2009 Casal Vegri Valpolicella Classico Superiore, offering a rare opportunity to experience a beautifully aged Italian red.
Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply enjoy discovering new wines and places, this is a relaxed, informal tasting with plenty of stories, delicious food and good conversation.
