About this Event
We're holding an open event to try our British Cycling affiliated Go Ride club - at the velodrome in Derby.
This is a coached session and is open to all riders under 18 - and parents who want to have a go at the exhilaration of track cycling! You need to live in the Nottingham area (we are based in Beeston), be at least 9 years old and be interested in getting involved in cycling. We particulary want to encourage girls to come and take part - most of our coaches are female and rode as youth riders.
Costs: TBC. Please register your intrest and we can confirm any costs. Please note that track bikes are supplied for the session.
About the club
We offer coaching across multiple disciplines (specialising in Road, Track and Cyclocross), over all abilities.
We have multiple groups split by age and ability with our oldest rider being 17 and our youngest rider is 6.
To take part, children should be able to ride a bike without stabilisers (watch out for learn to ride opportunities). Bike hire may be possible depending on availability.
Our weekly sessions begin at 6.30pm on the closed Harvey harden cycling circuit behind the main leisure centre. Please feel free to arrive in advance.
