About this Event
A Taste of Saved Messages is an evening of good food, good company, and a story told for the first time in North Carolina.
is a new one-woman play by Carlita Victoria, founder of Darkness RISING Project. Through humor, vulnerability, recorded voices, and phones from different eras, it follows one woman through a mental health crisis and the voices that kept her here. It’s funny. It’s honest. And it might just make you call your mom.
This is a performance workshop, which means you’re seeing the show while it’s still being built. You’ll be one of the first audiences to experience it, and your reactions will help shape what it becomes on its way to the stage.
