Come along on our weekend ride to Rushcliffe Country Park. This is a 20 mile ride with some road riding and a couple of pesky hills!Join us on our last 'longer weekend autumn rides' to Rushcliffe Country Park. We'll be taking it at a nice and steady pace and we'll be using cycle lanes, canal towpaths and some easy off-road sections. However there will be a bit of road riding along some faster roads and also some hills. Total elevation gain is 400ft. Please note this ride has changed from the original route that was going to Cotgrave.
We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back!
MEETING POINT: mini Tesco opposite Nottm Train Station.
TIME: meet at 9:45am, ready to ride at 10am.
You’ll be in safe hands, we’re experienced ride leaders who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.
This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. The session is funded by The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund.
You won’t need anything fancy, just a bike that rides, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling! Let us know if there is anything we can do to help enable you to join this ride.
Any questions, please get in touch we would love to hear from you.
