A small women’s breathwork experience in Chelsea, near Ottawa, to soften self-criticism, quiet inner pressure, and meet yourself gently.
About this Event

What if the reason you never feel good enough isn't because you are not doing enough?

You do so much. You show up for others, manage responsibilities, and keep pushing forward.

Yet somehow, there is still that voice telling you that you should be doing more, doing better, or being better.

For many women, the inner critic becomes a constant companion, leaving us exhausted, overthinking, and disconnected from ourselves.

And the cost? We can become so busy trying to be good enough that we miss the joy, presence, and connection available in the life we are already living.

But what if feeling enough doesn't require doing more?

Why this experience is different

You may already know you deserve rest, kindness, and compassion. But understanding that intellectually and actually feeling it are two different things.

Self-criticism isn't always just a thought. It can also show up as physical tension, emotional discomfort, and difficulty slowing down.

A Space to Soften is an intimate, three-hour women's experience designed to help you step out of constant doing and begin exploring a gentler relationship with yourself.

Through intentionally guided practices, we will explore:

  • Mindful Movement & Grounding: Slow down, reconnect with your body, and begin noticing your needs rather than constantly responding to expectations.
  • Heart-Coherence Meditation: Explore calming, heart-focused breathing and practise meeting yourself with greater kindness and compassion.
  • Conscious Connected Breathwork: Through guided breathing and immersive music, create space to explore emotions, notice internal patterns, and reconnect with yourself beyond constant thinking.
  • Journaling & Integration: Reflect on your experience and explore how to bring greater awareness and self-compassion into everyday life.

There is no particular outcome to achieve. Every experience is personal, and you will be encouraged to honour your own pace, including pausing or returning to your natural breathing whenever needed.

What becomes possible when you stop trying so hard to be enough?

Imagine giving yourself permission to rest without guilt, recognize your needs without judgment, and enjoy moments of your life without feeling you should be doing something else.

This afternoon isn't about fixing yourself or silencing your inner critic.

It's about beginning to recognize the patterns that keep you feeling not enough and practising a different way of relating to yourself.

We will close with time for rest, optional sharing, complimentary tea, light refreshments, and connection with other women.

Our October gathering sold out! Only 12 spaces are available for November to keep this experience intimate.

No previous experience is needed. Come exactly as you are.

Because you don't have to keep proving your worth to deserve your own kindness.
