About this Event
The Deadwives Club is a new kind of audiobook and craft experience for lovers of spicy dark romance and romantasy.
You’ll listen to an audiobook through wireless headphones while making your own beaded plant, surrounded by vintage crockery, patchwork fabrics and candlelight. We’ll pause between sections for tea, coffee, chatting and a breather.
This isn’t a traditional book club and you don’t need to read anything beforehand. Just turn up, put your headphones on and escape into the story while your hands are busy creating.
Your ticket includes:
• The immersive audiobook experience
• Use of wireless headphones
• The beaded plant workshop
• Tea and coffee
• Access to the audiobook afterwards, so you can finish the story at home
No craft experience is needed. I’ll guide you through it, but your plant can be completely your own.
This is one of the first Deadwives Club pilot events, so tickets are available at a special pilot price of £20.
Doors open at 1:45pm and we will begin at 2pm. Please arrive before the story starts so we can all begin together.
This is an adults-only event because the audiobook contains spicy themes. 18+ only.
