A Slice of Community - a Cake Tasting Fundraiser on Tues. Nov. 17

A Milestone Celebration & Cake Tasting Fundraiser

Love cake and local history? You’re in for a treat!

The San Mateo County History Museum is celebrating a banner year and we’re marking the occasion with a community cake event & fundraiser! Join the Redwood City Parks and Arts Foundation for a sweet evening supporting local bakers, celebrating local history, and raising funds for the museum's programs.

Hear directly from Mitch Postel, President of the San Mateo County Historical Association, about the museum's major multi-year expansion, showcasing three brand-new venues and six new exhibits:

• Taube Family Carriage House and Automobile Gallery: Features historic carriages and automobiles from the Peninsula's past.
• H.E.R.O. Natural History Gallery: Explores millions of years of natural history and local geology on the Peninsula.
• Lora Mundi House: The newly restored historic house (formerly the Lathrop-Connor-Mansfield House).

Also, enjoy 4+ delicious slices of cake plus beverages while you browse and vote in our People's Choice Cake Decorating Contest!

• Tickets are $30 per person: A ticket is required for ages 9 and older. Purchase your ticket on this site. (No refunds or exchanges.)

• Kids 8 & Under are FREE with a ticketed adult! And, please register kids 8 and under on this site.
