The WSO continues with its season theme of "Celebrating Neighborly Voices" on May 14, 2027, celebrating the color blue with inspiration from Emily Dickenson's "A Slash of Blue." Our 2026-27 season closes in color: fanfares, wide rivers, a flash of Sousa, and Frank Ticheli's "Blue Shades." Van Cliburn prizewinner Evren Ozel joins the WSO for Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" to celebrate the season closure.
