This year, I’ll be celebrating my 56th birthday the way I choose to celebrate it—by sharing a meal, showing love, and spending time with our unsheltered neighbors.
I know firsthand what it feels like to be unhoused.
That’s why this meal is more than just Thanksgiving dinner to me.
It’s about reminding people that they matter and that they have a place at the table.
