Patricia Suárez's Open Doors transports us to an unexpected hell: not of fire and brimstone, but of routines, guilt, and unresolved issues. In a peculiar reading room, Orietta, a strict school principal, and Ulrike, an actress who insists on being recognized as such, coexist. Both are serving punishments under the watchful eye of Dr. Recayente, an ophthalmologist tasked with examining their eyes and assigning them readings as part of their sentence.
