Luiza Flynn-Goodlett (she/her) is the author of Mud in Our Mouths (Northwestern University Press, 2025) and Look Alive (Cowles Poetry Book Prize, Southeast Missouri State University Press, 2021), along with numerous chapbooks, most recently Lossland (forthcoming from Black Lawrence Press). Her poetry can be found in Ninth Letter, swamp pink, Poetry Northwest, and elsewhere. She serves as a poetry editor for the Whiting Award–winning LGBTQIA2S+ literary journal and press Foglifter. She was raised in the wilds of Tennessee and now lives in the SF Bay Area with her wife and rescue dog.
Rae Gouirand is the author of nine titles of poetry and nonfiction, including Glass is Glass Water is Water (Spork Press, 2018), The History of Art (The Atlas Review, 2019), The Velvet Book (Cornerstone Press, 2024), a 2025 Lambda Literary Award finalist, and a brand-new collection, Whatever Dimness or Brightness. She has lived in Yolo County for more than two decades, leads several longrunning independent workshops in northern California and online, including the cross-genre workshop Scribe Lab, and serves as a Continuing Lecturer in the Department of English at UC-Davis. / raegouirand.com
D. M. Spratley is a Cave Canem Fellow, North Carolina Arts Council Fellow, and William C. Friday Fellow for Human Relations. Her work has appeared in Poetry Magazine, Best New Poets, The Adroit Journal, and elsewhere. She lives in San Francisco and teaches at Stanford University, where she was a Wallace Stegner Fellow. She is at work on a poetry manuscript, a novel, an EP, and a collection of critical lyric essays.
