October 29th

This week we will spend time deciding the genre of your novel, where it will take place, and the arc of the story. We will also work with character development: Who your characters will be: the protagonist, the antagonist, and a side-kick.

November 5th

In this session we will consider our main characters’ back stories. What was the defining moment in each character’s life that made them who they are in the ‘today’ of your novel? What does each character want more than anything in the world? What are they willing to do to get it? We will also continue to develop the setting that will support and determine the action of your characters.

November 12th

We will spend our final session sharing what we wrote in the previous two sessions
