A Nollywood Nativity: One Story, Many Nations

This Christmas, experience the Nativity like you’ve never seen it before.

A Nollywood Nativity is a bold, joyful and culturally vibrant theatrical retelling of the greatest story ever told — the birth of Jesus Christ.

Rooted in the timeless biblical account but brought to life through a distinctly African and Nollywood-inspired lens, the production combines powerful storytelling, live performance, music, movement, humour and African/Caribbean culture to create an unforgettable Christmas experience for the whole family.

At its heart, the story remains unchanged.

A young woman receives an extraordinary calling.
A man chooses faith when everything around him stops making sense.
Angels bring heaven's announcement.
Shepherds become unlikely witnesses.
Wise Men journey in search of a King.
And a child is born who changes everything.

But this time, the story is told with a little more colour, rhythm, culture — and plenty of personality.

Expect beautiful Nigerian and African traditional clothing, music, comedy, heartfelt moments and a cast representing the richness of the communities around us.

Because while cultures may be different, the story belongs to all of us.

A celebration of faith.
A celebration of culture.
A celebration of creativity.
And above all, a celebration of Jesus.
