About this Event
We’re delighted to be returning this Christmas with A Night at the Movies! Following last year’s festive concert in Battle, we’re bringing back the same much-loved programme of magical movie music performed by a talented string quartet, this time in the beautiful surroundings of Beulah Baptist Church, Bexhill-on-Sea.
Join us for a magical evening of music celebrating the unforgettable soundtracks of our favourite Christmas films. Gather your friends and family, soak up the festive atmosphere and enjoy the beautiful sounds of strings as we bring these much-loved melodies to life.
Expect to hear music from festive favourites, including:
- The Holiday
- Elf
- Love Actually
- The Polar Express
- It's a Wonderful Life
- Home Alone
…and many more!

7.00pm-8pm – Main Fundraising Concert
Our main evening concert brings the magic of Christmas film music to life while raising money for a wonderful local cause.
Supporting Space for Yew
100% of profits from the event will be donated to Space for Yew, a local not-for-profit organisation supporting neurodivergent children, adults and families across Rother.
Based in Bexhill, Space for Yew has created Rother’s Neurodivergent Hub in Egerton Park - a welcoming, inclusive space where neurodivergent people and their families can connect, find support and take part in activities designed around their needs. The organisation works particularly with children who face barriers to education, as well as families who may otherwise struggle to find suitable support and a sense of community.
By coming along to A Night at the Movies, you’ll be helping Space for Yew continue its valuable work and supporting the development of a more inclusive community for local families.
We can’t wait to welcome you back for another festive celebration filled with beautiful music, Christmas nostalgia and community spirit!
