October Bookish Trivia Night at The Rustic! The lights are low. The shelves are creaking. Something just moved in the mystery section...
And your TBR is NOT the scariest thing in the room anymore. 👀🔪😂
This October, The Whimsy Wagon Bookshop + The Rustic Beer & Wine Bar are teaming up once again for another round of BOOKISH TRIVIA — and naturally, we're getting SPOOKY. 🕯️📖
Join us for...
🕸️ A NIGHT AT THE HAUNTED BOOKSHOP 🕸️
📅 Tuesday, October 13th
⏰ 7pm – 9pm
📍 The Rustic Beer & Wine Bar
24055 Endy Road | Albemarle, NC
October's questions are crawling out of the darkest corners of the bookstore. 👀
Think...
🔪 Thrillers
👻 Horror
🔎 Mysteries
🩸 Murder & mayhem
🕯️ Spooky stories
📚 Creepy literary classics
🎬 Books that made their way onto the screen
🖤 And plenty of other things that go bump in the bookstore...
If it's mysterious, unsettling, murderous, spooky, twisty, or makes you say “WHY WOULD YOU GO IN THERE?!”...
It just might make an appearance. 😂
🧠📚 HOW DOES BOOKISH TRIVIA WORK?
Grab your friends and assemble your trivia team — then come up with the most ridiculous, clever, bookish team name you can manage. 👏
We'll take you through multiple rounds of questions covering October's spooky theme, your team will work together to submit your answers, and we'll tally everything up to see who survives...
Errr... WINS. 👀😂
🏆 PRIZES for our 1st AND 2nd place teams!
And don't worry — you do NOT need a literature degree or an encyclopedic knowledge of every horror novel ever written to come play.
Some questions will make you feel like a literary GENIUS.
Some will have your entire table staring at one another like:
“...I thought YOU read that one?!” 😭😂
That's half the fun.
🍷 Grab a beer or glass of wine from The Rustic.
📚 Browse a small selection of books & goodies from The Whim Wag.
🧠 Put all that useless fictional knowledge to work.
👯 Hang out with your favorite Book Besties.
👻 And spend an October evening with us having a hauntingly good time!
🎟️ AND THE BEST PART? BOOKISH TRIVIA IS FREE TO PLAY!
No tickets. No registration. Just assemble your team and COME ON OUT!
But do us a favor... 👀👇
☑️ Hit GOING on this event!
🏷️ TAG YOUR TRIVIA TEAMMATES!
📲 Share the event with your thriller-reading, horror-loving, mystery-solving friends!
And then you've got a few weeks to brush up on all things sinister. 🔪📚
Because on October 13th...
THE HAUNTED BOOKSHOP OPENS ITS DOORS. 🕯️👻📖
The only question is...
DO YOU KNOW ENOUGH TO MAKE IT OUT ON TOP? 👀🔎
See you at The Rustic, Book Besties!!! 🍷📚👻✨
