A MUSICAL EVENING OF VIOLIN AND PIANO

An captivating evening of brilliant virtuosity and soulful collaboration for violin and piano — not to be missed.

First violinist of the Houston Symphony Orchestra Sergei Galperin made his American solo debut at Avery Fisher Hall at age 16 and has since performed as a soloist and concertmaster with leading orchestras and at major venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

Accompanied by award-winning pianist and educator Kao Taniguchi, a 2022 HMTA Teacher of the Year recipient and active international soloist, this performance highlights masterworks spanning classical, romantic, and tango traditions.
