About this Event
As the wheel of the year turns toward autumn we are excited to be celebrating the dedication and commitment of the Cumberland Forest community and the successful purchase of the 261 acre Middle Earth lands.This project spans the Perseverance and Trent Watersheds and brings the total lands protected by the CCFS to over 800 acres!
This effort would not be possible without the support of our conservation partners, community leaders, donors and supporters. To mark this remarkable conservation achievement we are gathering in the beautiful #6 Mine Heritage Park in Cumberland on October 1st to celebrate together with food, music, reflections, and words from special guests.
