About this Event
Italy has a long, illustrious history with wine. By the time the Ancient Greeks first landed in Italy nearly 3000 years ago, they discovered the inhabitants already had expansive plantations of vineyards specifically for making wine. Today, wine is still an important part of Italian cuisine and culture: every one of the 20 regions of Italy makes at least some wine.
Join us tonight at Metro Liquor to taste and learn about some wines of Italy and what makes them special, and worth having on your table! In addition, you will have the opportunity to try some amazing snacks to pair with the wines, generously provided by Italian Star Deli!
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Regina Sexual Assault Centre to support their critical work in our community.
