About this Event
Gospel Sing Along is a night of worship hosted by the BPLA (Black Pastors & Leaders Association) core team, happening Friday, October 2 at 6PM at LIFE Vineyard Church (620 Alum Creek Dr, Columbus, OH). We're coming together for one simple purpose: to sing. We'll move through a set of older songs and newer ones, all carried with a gospel feel — the kind of music that doesn't ask you to just watch, but to open your mouth and join in. There will be room to testify, room to pray, and room to just be present with each other. No performance up front, no audience in the back — just a room full of people singing the same songs toward the same God.
This event grew out of the BPLA — a place where Black Vineyard Church pastors and leaders across the nation find safety, support, and a place of understanding for the unique joys and challenges of serving in the Vineyard as men and women of color. It exists so that Black leaders within the Vineyard movement have a community that truly sees them — a space to be known, encouraged, and strengthened as they lead in their local churches and cities. Gospel Sing Along carries that same spirit into a room: not a conference, not a program, just a chance to worship together, sing old songs and new ones side by side, and be reminded that none of us are carrying this alone.
Everyone is welcome — pastors, leaders, congregants, friends, and family of any background. If the music and the mission speak to you, come sing with us.
