About this Event
A business networking event focused on wellbeing. The upcoming Balance for Business wellness walk presents a unique opportunity to step back from the daily grind and engage in an activity that promotes positive habits and connection. By participating in this event, you can navigate your busy work life, social obligations, and family commitments without feeling overwhelmed, allowing you to recharge and refocus.
We’re pleased to introduce Graeme Derby as the first speaker on our Autumn panel, hosted by our venue sponsor, the University of Suffolk.
As Head of Business Engagement, Graeme works with organisations across Suffolk and the wider region, creating partnerships that connect business with talent, knowledge and opportunity.
Our conversation will explore the value of community and connection in business and the impact these have on our wellbeing, culture and success.
We’ll also be looking at the practical opportunities available through the University of Suffolk, including business apprenticeships, graduate talent, innovation and knowledge exchange, and how these can support local businesses to develop and grow.
Next up is...
Jordan Holder, Head of Talent & Culture at the East of England Co-op, leads across talent, leadership, learning, culture and DEI. He is passionate about creating great places to work and developing people for the future.
Jordan also brings a strong community perspective as a Trustee of Suffolk Community Foundation, supporting its work to strengthen local communities.
Joining Jordan is Lucy Pembroke, bringing her own experience and perspective to what promises to be a really valuable conversation for Suffolk's business community.
Through her work with Suffolk Community Foundation, Lucy is closely connected to the organisations, people and communities across Suffolk, supporting the Foundation’s role in strengthening local communities and helping create positive social impact across the county.
This lineup brings such an interesting dimension to the panel, looking not only at how we build successful businesses and great places to work, but also at how business connects with and contributes to the communities around us.
