Are you exploring or doubting Christianity? If so, you are invited to participate in this free, five-week course.
For five Tuesdays, The Story course provides a relaxed setting where you’ll share a meal with others, share your story (if you feel comfortable) and consider how it connects with God’s story revealed through the person Jesus Christ in his story (history).
Part 1 - Origins: Where have we come from?
Part 2 - Suffering: What is wrong with the world?
Part 3 - Justice: How can the world become a better place?
Part 4 - Hope: Is there any hope for the future?
Part 5 - Life: How should we live?
Each evening is a mixture of discussion, hearing aspects of one another's stories, a short-talk on the topic of the evening, and an opportunity to look at the historical Jesus and how he helps us make sense of these questions. All this takes place in a relaxed environment, with great food and good company!
Can you make four out of five of these weeks? Each week, we’ll examine a difference chapter in this greater narrative. Dinner is provided.
