About this Event
In celebration of the ending of Outlander on television, we are joined by two of the editors of, and a range of contributors to, Outlander and Scotland, a phenomenal look at the ways the Outlander series presents and represents Scotland and its history.
Gillebride MacMillan and Lisa Kelly, editors of the volume, join us to discuss the range of essays and contributors they selected, and what inspired them to put together this fantastic book - and Gillebride may share his experiences playing Gwllyn the bard - before Alex Dold, Stephanie Shakay Tierney, and Archie Henderson share brief talks on each of their contributions to Outlander and Scotland, showcasing the range of perspectives and approaches to the series and history. There will be an opportunity for audience questions and to get your books signed at the end of the event.
