About this Event
Susie McCabe’s career has been so stratospheric in recent years, she’s indisputably one of the biggest acts working in Scottish comedy today. Having made multiple TV appearances including Have I Got News for You, Live At The Apollo, Frankie Boyle’s New World Order and Question Time, she’s also had a sell-out Edinburgh Fringe show and a triple-sell out run at the legendary King’s Theatre in Glasgow. Even with multiple Scottish Comedy Awards under her belt, she had to make room on her shelf for one more when in 2024 she was awarded the Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award, with the accolade presented by the Big Yin himself via video link.
“I was blown sideways!” – Billy Connolly
“A naturally funny storyteller and a genuine stand up. Highly recommended.” - Kevin Bridges
“Susie is up there with the best.” - Fred MacAulay
“Susie McCabe is damn funny.” - Stewart Francis
“McCabe is hilariously down to earth and has a fantastically positive outlook. About as far down the opposite end of the spectrum from disappointing as you could get.” - Broadway Baby
“The ever-reliable Susie McCabe delivers plenty of chuckles.” - The Scotsman
“Prepare to laugh yourself silly.” - Three Weeks
Your host for the evening will be Scottish comedy’s most meteoric riser Paddy Linton. His impressive stand-up skills have fast become highly in demand at some of the best comedy shows in the country. In March 2025 he was chosen to open for Darren Connell at Glasgow’s legendary King’s Theatre. He’s also been support act of choice for Mark Black and Gary Faulds.
"He went up and smashed it... made me remember why I love this." - Darren Connell
“Instantly likeable and effortlessly funny.” – Comedy Dundee
“Got people on side immediately” – The Stand
Plus support acts Matthew Gallagher and Peter Bell.
