A DIFFERENT THREAD
The transatlantic duo continues to earn praise for their harmony-driven blend of British folk-rock and North Carolina alt-country.
Their new album Over Again received ★★★★ in Rolling Stone Germany and ★★★★★ in RnR Magazine, while music mag 'Americana UK' praised its “charming, exquisite songwriting” and “delightful harmonies”. The title track won ‘Best in Folk/Americana’ at the International Acoustic Music Awards this year.
Originally formed while busking in Ireland, Alicia Best (North Carolina) and Robert Jackson (West Midlands, England) have built a loyal following through grassroots touring on both sides of the
Atlantic.
Their live shows combine rich harmonies, engaging storytelling, multi-instrumental arrangements, and songs that conjure up feelings of longing, resilience, and hope for a brighter future.
