What to Expect:
? Open Mic & Speakers — Share a memory, honor a loved one, or speak your truth. The mic is yours.
? Live Comedy Show — A special comedian is bringing the laughs because healing includes joy.
? Free Mobile Barbers — Two mobile barbers on-site giving fresh cuts all day. Show up, look good, feel good.
? Music & Vibes — Live music and a curated soundtrack to keep the energy right.
? Food & Drinks — Complimentary food and refreshments for everyone who comes through.
? Free Clothing — Clothes available for anyone who needs them, no questions asked.
? Community Connection — Meet others in recovery, build real friendships, and find your people.
?️ Moments of Remembrance — Space to honor those we’ve lost and those still fighting.
Who This Is For
- Anyone who has lost someone to addiction
- Families and friends of loved ones currently struggling
- People in recovery - new, seasoned, or somewhere in between. All welcomed.
- Allies, supporters, and anyone who believes recovery is possible.
Need a Ride?
We believe no one should miss this because of transportation. If you’re in recovery and need help getting to the park, message the host directly and we’ll coordinate a ride for you. ?
? Volunteers Needed — Be Part of Making This Happen
This event runs on community power. If you want to give back, we’d love your help with:
?️ Setup Crew — Arrive early to help set up tables, chairs, speakers, and stations
? Cleanup Crew — Stay after to help break down and leave the park better than we found it
? Greeters — Welcome people as they arrive and guide them to activities, food, barbers, and the mic
? Audio Tech Support — Someone with experience running sound to help manage the mic, speakers, and music
No experience required for most roles — just a good heart and a willingness to serve. Message the host to sign up for a volunteer slot. Service is a cornerstone of recovery, and this is a beautiful way to give back.
