ABOUT THE FILM:
Julie Andrews delivers an award-winning performance in Blake Edwards’ spectacular musical comedy. Victoria, a struggling soprano, teams with nightclub entertainer Carroll “Toddy” Todd and reinvents herself as Count Victor Grazinski, a man whose female impersonator act captivates audiences and launches her career.
But as ‘Victor’ rises to stardom, Victoria’s carefully crafted deception grows increasingly difficult to maintain when an American mobster takes a special interest in her.
Brimming with witty performances, dazzling costumes and an Academy Award-winning score, this beloved musical comedy delights with its charm, humour and sparkling romance.
Victor/Victoria earned multiple award nominations and wins, including a Golden Globe for Julie Andrews. Its popularity later inspired a Broadway musical adaptation.
