As the Coven celebrates the turning Wheel of the Year, we come upon Samhain; the festival closing the harvest season. Lady Moondancer, a beloved High Priestess of the community, will represent the Great Goddess, Mother Earth, in the opening rituals, as Lord Matria represents the God of Death and Resurrection. We will gather as community, set our intentions, and cast our spells during this holy day. Matria will also lead us through a channeling/ mediumship session, and teach some methods of talking to the ancestors!*We will be recording this ritual for photo/video posterity. (Our Beltane video is available to watch on YouTube / Lord Matria.) We will have festive feather masks you may wear and take home with you if you wish.*
A small donation up to $10 is requested to reimburse the presenters and the venue.
*Feel free to bring photos of your ancestors and lost loved ones for the altar, along with other offerings*
