Set against the snow-dusted backdrop of 1940s Indiana, this warm and wonderfully nostalgic musical adaptation of the beloved holiday film follows nine-year-old Ralphie Parker on his all-consuming mission: to find a Red Ryder Carbine Action BB gun under the Christmas tree. With a tuneful, toe-tapping score, the show brings to life every delicious obstacle standing between Ralphie and his dream — from a dismissive department store Santa to the dreaded tongue-on-the-flagpole dare. Funny, festive, and surprisingly touching, A Christmas Story captures the universal ache of wanting something with your whole heart, the chaos of family life, and the bittersweet tenderness of a childhood that passes all too quickly.
*Our ASL interpreted performance + Audio Descriptions will be held on December 11.
