The Canada Virtuoso Ensemble (CVE) invites audiences to welcome the holiday season with A Christmas Celebration, a festive concert taking place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at Christ First United Church in Port Credit, Mississauga.

Under the direction of Music Director and Conductor maestro Carlos Bastidas, the concert will take audiences on a musical journey from the elegance of Baroque masterpieces to some of the most cherished melodies of the Christmas season.
The evening will feature acclaimed violinist David Baik as soloist, alongside the McGregor Carollers, bringing together instrumental and vocal performances in a program celebrating the beauty, warmth, and spirit of the holidays.
The program includes Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto for Strings in G Major, RV 151, “Alla Rustica” and the winter movement from his celebrated The Four Seasons. Audiences will also enjoy Johann Pachelbel’s timeless Canon in D, Irving Berlin’s beloved White Christmas, and selections from Tchaikovsky’s enchanting The Nutcracker Suite. The program also features Holiday String Along and a special performance by the McGregor Carollers.
Combining classical masterpieces, seasonal favourites, and festive vocal music, A Christmas Celebration promises a memorable concert experience for classical music enthusiasts, families, and anyone wishing to celebrate the holiday season through the power of live music.
