The Campbell River Singers are thrilled to invite the local community to save the date for their upcoming holiday concert, “A Christmas Celebration!” The performance takes place on Saturday, December 5, 2026, at 7:30 PM at Campbell River Baptist Church.
Featuring a powerful ensemble of over 100 vocalists and musicians, the event offers a rich, diverse lineup designed to appeal to music lovers of all ages. The repertoire spans a wide variety of Christmas music and midwinter selections, ranging from familiar traditional carols and uplifting songs of peace and hope to festive arrangements with a jazzy twist.
Highlights of the evening include a thrilling performance of Handel’s soaring Hallelujah Chorus, accompanied by Roger Kirk and J. Havelaar on trumpet and Eli Rosenthal on percussion.
Additionally, the men’s chorus will present Stan Rogers' iconic Canadian folk song, "Northwest Passage," honoring the history of the ill-fated Franklin Expedition.
The concert will also feature special guest appearances by the popular local trio Mood Swings.
"We are delighted to bring our community together for an evening that captures both the joy and reflection of the holiday season," said Conductor Shelley Roberts. “With over 100 performers on stage, from our full choir to featured instrumentalists and special guests, it promises to be an unforgettable night of music."
Ticket details and venue entry information will be announced in the coming weeks.
