This is not a Ceroc event, this charity night is being run by some of our Swansea members but we have offered to advertise for them and get the word out. This is for a young lady, Sophie, who was given the all clear from cancer earlier this year to then be told in July that it has returned and it is stage 4 bowel cancer, Sophie is only 22!!
This event is to try and raise money for her to have treatment that is not available to her through the NHS.
We are looking for local businesses or yourselves to offer prizes for a raffle, if you know of any one who could help please let us know, if you have anything you can offer again please let us know before the event so we know what prizes we have.
The event will start off with a charity Lucky Dip - this will cost £5 pp. If you haven't taken part in a Lucky Dip before it is where you get randomly partnered with someone and dance a song together. We hope as many of you as possible will take part in this, it's great fun.
Please bring a cake or a savoury with you so we can have a re fuel through the event.
We will be having charity boxes at all our classes and events where you can also donate.
Please help in spreading the word for us, so that the ladies organising this can make as much money as possible for Sophie.
