Darling Shamanista's,On Friday 13th November, I'm holding a cacao ceremony for letting go.
We'll sit together, drink cacao, and give ourselves permission to release what we've been carrying.
The old stories. The versions of ourselves we outgrew months ago but are still dragging around out of habit. The grip we hold on things that were never ours to control.
Cacao is a heart centred anchor. Wherever this ceremony takes you, it takes you there with more love and less fear.
What is a cacao ceremony, if you've never sat in one?
Ceremonial cacao is a master plant medicine from the Amazon, held sacred there long before it ever reached our cups. We drink it raw and with intention, and it opens the heart gently rather than taking you out of your body.
From there, we journey inward, releasing the emotional blockages that no longer serve us and finding our way back to clarity.
You don't need any experience.
Just an open heart, and a willingness to feel.
Friday the 13th felt right for this one, and it's worth saying why.
13 is a feminine number. 13 moons rise in a year, 13 cycles in a woman's body. Long before it was called unlucky, this was a sacred day.
Somewhere back in history, that sacredness got rewritten. The feminine, the moon, the witches, all of it turned into something to fear and to burn. Friday the 13th became the day everyone flinches at, instead of the day they once gathered for.
So this ceremony is also a way of taking that back.
We're not only letting go of what we personally carry, we're cutting the cord on that old story too, the one that taught us to fear our own power and to stop honouring the sacred feminine in us all.
Friday 13th November 6.30pm – 9.30pm
Come with whatever you're ready to put down.
In love always,
L x
