We are delighted to welcome film star Forouzan Jamshidnejad for an in-person conversation following the October 21 screening.
Following its world premiere in the Venice Film Festival’s Main Competition, A BIT OF LIGHT tells the story of Arash, a Tehran doctor who loses faith in the future after being arrested and banned from practicing medicine. As he sets out to say goodbye to his loved ones, encounters with family, patients, and strangers begin to challenge his resolve.
Blending quiet humor with a compassionate portrait of life in Tehran, Asgari explores the bonds that sustain us through uncertainty and despair.
