About this Event
Many meetings are boring. They drag on, lack focus, are dominated by the same voices, or end up as glorified report-outs. If you're new to facilitating meetings and feel unsure where to start—or if your meetings feel dull, disconnected, or tense—this session is for you.
In this beginner-friendly training, you'll learn how to turn any meeting into a space for clarity, connection, and action.
We’ll cover:
- A simple, repeatable tool to prepare for meetings that actually work
- How to design an agenda that sparks engagement and invites multiple voices
- What to do when difficult personalities take over—or when no one speaks up
- The secret superpower of great facilitators: knowing when not to meet
- Whether you’re running team huddles, community check-ins, or staff planning sessions, this workshop will help you feel more confident, more prepared, and more in control.
- Walk away with tools you can use right away—and maybe even start hearing “that was a good meeting” more often.
