We will start in the village of Alstonefield where there are a couple of parking areas and also toilet facilities.
The walk will start from the Village Hall (parking available here).
From Alstonefield we will walk to the village of Stanshope and then onto Dove Dale from where we will walk to Milldale.
We will continue to follow the river Dove through Wolfscotedale before ascending back to Alstonefield.
Ground likely to be wet and muddy in places, mix of paths and fields, walk will be undulating. Not suitable for dogs.
Please bring a packed lunch.
